The Vendor purchased the practice from a retiring dentist and now, after a rewarding career, is ready to retire. The practice is located in the lower level of a professional building on a main street in east Ottawa. There is ample parking in the lot at the rear and on the street. It consists of 2 operatories, private office, and sterilization/laboratory. The business office and reception complete the layout in this 600 square foot suite. The Vendor provides most restorative services including all preventive treatment. All endodontic and surgery are referred. The Vendor employs one staff member whose duties include receptionist and dental assistant. The office is open 4 days/week with no Friday or evening hours. The Vendor treated approximately 350 individual patients last year and while this a modest patient base, the patients are extremely loyal and committed to this office. The patients are generally bilingual, but most speak both English and French. However, to guarantee a successful transition, a French speaking owner is highly recommended. The Vendor is willing to assist the buyer with a short transition. This will be an asset sale, which is highly beneficial to the Purchaser. The Vendor will provide a $10,000 credit on close of sale for practice software integration.
